Susan Heizer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Susan received her masters and undergraduate degrees from Aurora University

Susan has worked as a family therapist for fifteen years. She has had experience working with children, through older adults.

Susan practices a positive approach to therapy. She believes those seeking therapy have a positive desire to make changes in their live. Therefore a client is encourages to search the positive influences in their lives and use these to make the desired change they are seeking.

Susan works with the client to help them develop skills to effect a meaningful, effective, and lasting change in their lives.

What is a family?

Our understanding of  family is defined by your own perception.   Family has as many different meanings as the makeup of families.  At Family counseling we believe that our services are there for any definition of a “family”.

The Objective of Family Counseling and Education Service is to enable families and individuals to face the challenges of today’s society through therapy, education and support.

Family Counseling will provide counseling to families, couples and individuals of all ages. Family counseling will support parents  through education, therapy, and referrals in raising their children to become responsible citizens who will not only survive but thrive in today’s society.
